Pyll was born into an agricultural community. After a run-in with a pack of wolves he realized that farming was not the life for him, he enjoyed the thrill of being close to death.
Adulthood[]
With a chip on his shoulder and few natural skills, all Pyll had going for him was a warrior ethos second to none. He was wounded in nearly every cattle raid he went on but never missed one. Naturally, he has a reputation for being tough that he encourages.
Pyll has a wife who dotes on him, concerned that he will get hurt and hoping beyond hope that he will retire.

Pyll is small and knows it, but hates the idea of being coddled to. He also has no sympathy for those who have better attributes than him but are either weak or less courageous than he is.
