Little is known of Lleudun's childhood, only that he was raised in a king's teulu.
Lleudun began his career as a warrior, only assuming command when his king repeatedly failed in battle. Knowing how the others felt and realizing he had their support, he killed the king and took over.
In 517 his daughter Thynoy was raped. After weeks of raids and intensive interrogations Lleudun finally tracked down and punished the Picts who were guilty. But when he learned that his daughter was pregnant he sentenced her to death. As far as he was concerned, after that day he only had a son left, Cynan Colledawc. Years later, Ymellyrn would assassinate him and usurp his crown as he once had.
A simple, angry man living through the power vacuum that followed Arthur's demise, Lleudun had no time for people who failed him in any way. That meant (to his detriment) Ymellyrn as well as his daughter Thynoy.
