Though the region never came to any great power, in the late fifth and early sixth centuries it's kings were renowned for their raiding prowess.

HistoryEdit

As one of the seven Pictish kingdoms, Foirtrinn took part in the raids of 367 and 383. Under Caw and his son Hueil those raids continued into the sixth century.
