Din Peledyr

Din Peledyr, home of the Lleuddinyawn dynasty

  • Kingdom: Lleuddinyawn (capital)
  • Coordinates: 55.5758 North, 2.4028 West

Political SignificanceEdit

As the capital of Lleuddinyawn, Din Peledyr was at the center of all affairs in the kingdom. It was the home of Lleudun and the place where he condemned his daughter to death.

Din Peledyr was used as a fortification as early as 1000 B.C.E. and was used consistently until the creation of Antonine's Wall. When the Romans once again fell back to Hadrian's Wall around 220 A.D. it was reoccupied and remained active until the late fifth century at least.
