A little too reckless for the farm and too intelligent for the village, Cunomorus was a lonely child for whom leaving his home was no sacrifice.

Striking out on his own when his father died and his brother inherited the lands, Cunomorus soon found Luguvalium, home to the already famous Arthur. There he instantly found a kinship with Owain. The two were like brothers, with his friend playing the happy buffoon and him the intelligent curmudgeon. Impromptu wrestling matches, bird hunts, and other silly activities were part of the daily routine.

When his friend died of the wounds suffered fighting Ceredig, Cunomorus vowed to have his revenge or die in the attempt. Ceredig noted he was a challenge, but no diademed warrior.

Intelligent and well-read, Cunomorus was never happier than when he was bantering with his good friend Owain. A curmudgeon perhaps, but one with a playful sense of humor.
